1. SINGLE KPI METRIC MONITORING PAGE

We build a dashboard to monitor a single key performance indicator (KPI) metric by comparing athletes’ current performances with their all-time best. We integrate the ability to select an athlete and see that athlete’s KPI trend over time, on the same page. We use vertical jump height as the KPI in this example, but it could be anything you like.

2. HOW TO UPDATE YOUR DATASET FOR VIDEO 3

In video 3, we give ourselves the ability to select from multiple KPIs, including ones where “lower is better” (e.g., sprint times). In this video, I show you how to update your dataset after completing video #1 so that you can easily complete video #3 without losing any of your work.

3. CHOOSE YOUR METRIC AND TESTING ON DIFFERENT DATES

We advance upon our single metric key performance indicator (KPI) monitoring dashboard by adding a few more metrics, including 10-meter sprint (where lower numbers are better) and trap-bar deadlift performances, with each test being performed on different dates. It’s more complex than it sounds. In the end, you’ll have the ability to select your metric of interest in your dashboard and have all of the data come along for the ride.
